After last week’s deep-space nightmare in Alien: Earth, Episode 6 will return to the horrors lurking in Prodigy’s base – and things may be about to get a lot worse.
Episode 5 chronicled the grisly fate of the USS Maginot and its doomed crew, whether they drank extraterrestrial tadpoles that made them puke blood or they faced off against the cosmos’ greatest threat, Bear (the show’s Xenomorph).
However, big questions remain: why can Wendy communicate with the alien creatures, will Prodigy let her brother leave, why did Nibs think she’s pregnant, and will Morrow successfully manipulate Slightly to get what he wants?
There are just three episodes remaining, and going by the trailer for Alien: Earth Episode 6, a familiar face(hugger) will make an appearance.

How many episodes of Alien: Earth are there?
There are eight episodes of Alien: Earth. The first two were released August 12, and the rest will be released individually and weekly thereafter.
As for whether or not Season 2 is on the table, it looks likely. Speaking to Variety in 2024, FX chief John Landgraf teased: “We’re pretty bullish on Alien: Earth and we’ve told [Hawley] that assuming, as we hope, Alien: Earth is a returning television series, we want him to focus on at least writing two seasons of it before returning to a possible sixth season of Fargo.

What happened in Alien: Earth Episode 5?

Alien: Earth Episode 5 flashed back to the 17 days before the USS Maginot’s collision with Earth, revealing exactly what went down on the ship that led to its fateful crash.
In short, the creatures were far smarter than they ever anticipated, capable of freeing themselves from their tubes and wreaking havoc, killing each member of the crew.
By the time a fully grown Xenomorph was on the loose, most of the people on the ship were already dead, with Morrow already declaring himself as the lone survivor.
By the end, we saw Captain Zoya get ripped apart by a Xeno before Morrow climbed into the impact chamber under Mother’s mainframe, before he met with Yutani. “Whatever he wants, he gets,” she tells her staff, with Morrow promising to kill Boy Kavalier.
