Cristiano Ronaldo might have made two secret Kick-Ass movies with the director of Kingsman

In a surprise announcement, football legend Cristiano Ronaldo has said that he’s made two movies with the director of Kingsman, and we think they might be a pair of secret Kick-Ass films.
Cristiano Ronaldo is a footballing icon, breaking records for both county and clubs across one of the most successful careers in the history of the game.
His goal tally for Portugal is 136 in 219 games, which is the most anyone has scored in international football, while he also won five Ballon d’Ors and five Champions Leagues.
But as his career winds down, Ronaldo is moving into media, launching the UR-Cristiano YouTube channel in 2024, which takes his follower tally to more than 1 billion. And now he’s making the shift into movies.
Ronaldo and Matthew Vaughn announce new movie studio
In a surprise post on his Twitter/X account, Ronaldo revealed that he’s teaming up with Kingsman director Matthew Vaughn to form a film studio called UR-MARV. And in an even more surprising announcement, the company has already made two movies.
The statement calls UR-MARV “An independent joint venture film studio embracing innovative technology, with a nod to tradition.”
In the same post, Ronaldo says: “This is an exciting chapter for me, as I look to new ventures in business.”
Vaughn adds: “Cristiano has created stories on the pitch that I could never have written, and I look forward to creating inspiring movies with him – he’s a real-life superhero.”
This won’t be the first time that the director has worked with a footballer, as Vaughn launched the film career of Vinnie Jones with Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and gave David Beckham a cameo in his King Arthur movie.

Why mystery movies could be connected to Kick-Ass

The statement says that Ronaldo and Vaughn have “financed and produced two action films together and are about to start a third in the same series. They look forward to announcing the first release soon.”
These could be brand-new projects, but Vaughn has also been teasing an all-new Kick-Ass trilogy that he’s been producing, with Danny Walters – a former gymnast, free-runner, and stuntman – directing.
The first film, titled School Fight, wrapped sometime ago, the sequel – appropriately called The Stuntman – is also thought to have completed principal photography, and the third in the series is rumored to be a reboot of Kick-Ass.
Sounds like there’s too much coincidence for it not be School Fight and The Stuntman, but either way, we’ll bring you more news on these projects as-and-when it breaks.
