Akaza in Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle and still of the movie's popcorn bucket

Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle is gearing up for its US release, with just days to go. If you’re wondering which cinema to choose for your viewing, you may want to take a look at the limited edition popcorn buckets on offer.

The new movie is the first installment of a new Demon Slayer film trilogy based on the Infinity Castle arc of the Kimetsu no Yaiba manga series, and is a direct sequel to Season 4 of the anime series.

Since releasing in Japan on July 18, 2025, it’s been smashing all kinds of records, earning a 9.3/10 rating on IMDb and 7.31 billion yen ($49.55 million) with 5.16 million tickets sold in the first four days.

Now, tickets are now on sale for the international releases, with screenings in the US and Canada set to begin on September 12. And, well, you’re going to watch to see the popcorn buckets on offer.

Every Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle bucket so far

Infinity Castle popcorn bucket and collectable cups from AMC Theatres

AMC Theatres is always leading the charge when it comes to collectables, and Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle is no different. The company is serving up a popcorn bucket based on Muzan’s stronghold, featuring panels of characters such as Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Mitsuri, and Inosuke.

But arguably the most exciting component is the collection of limited edition cups, with four different designs representing Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Giyu, and Shinobu, with straws and lids based on their individual sword handles.

The bad news is these items aren’t available on AMC’s online merch store just yet. However, a number of fans have spotted them in physical theaters, so the best way to get your hands on them right now is to check your local AMC branch. Or, you can wait until they drop online.

Demon Slayer tin & cup from Cinemark

Cinemark’s offerings are a little more understated, but that also means they won’t break the bank. The 130 ounce tin featuring various Demon Slayer characters costs $15 filled, while the cup will set you back $7.75 filled. Or, you can buy both for $21.95.

And if that weren’t enough, the cinema chain is offering a free same-day refill. Cinemark confirmed its Infinity Castle tin and cup are now available to purchase in theaters, meaning you’ll have to go and get them in person for the time being.

Demon Slayer popcorn tins from Megaplex

Megaplex has revealed two popcorn buckets to choose from: the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Infinity Castle Popcorn Tin and a round tin version. The first is similar to AMC’s bucket, in that it’s designed like the Infinity Castle, and the second is a 130 ounce tin with Tanjiro on the front.

Although the first item was available for sale for $25.99 on the Megaplex website, it appears to have since sold out. However, you can still get the round tin online for $19.99. Or you can opt for either when you go to see the Demon Slayer movie at your local Megaplex.

Demon Slayer tin & cup from Regal

According to social media posts, Regal is getting the same Demon Slayer tin and cup combo as Cinemark. Right now, they’re unavailable on the merch site, but fans have recommended calling ahead to find out if your local theater has them in stock.

Why US fans are disappointed by Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle merch

Although there’s plenty of excitement about the new movie’s impending release, fans in the US are feeling disappointed by the collectibles on offer, as they don’t match up to the popcorn buckets seen in Japan and Malaysia.

For instance, T-Joy cinemas in Japan reportedly released a rotating film reel Demon Slayer popcorn bucket. Malaysian moviegoers were treated to an Infinity Castle-themed bucket featuring a stunning LED lid.

In one Instagram post, the US versions were described as “plain and lackluster” in comparison, with one fan writing, “They put no thought to it.” Another asked, “Why, they had so much time to do something better.”

However, others have more of a ‘cup (or bucket) half full’ take on the situation. “As long as I see that movie I’m ok,” said one.
