TikTok: E!/YouTube: Good GuysDrake Bell has updated fans on the possibility of a Drake and Josh reboot after he reunited with his former co-star, Josh Peck.
The popular Nickelodeon show ran from 2004 to 2007 and made its mark as one of the most iconic shows from that time.
After Drake and Josh ended, however, the two stars drifted apart and spent the next almost two decades not speaking with each other. Many fans spent years wondering what happened between the two Nick stars, but the question went largely unanswered.
That is, until March 2025, when Drake Bell appeared on Josh Peck’s ‘Good Guys’ podcast, and the two had a lengthy conversation for the first time since the show ended. With that podcast, fans began to wonder whether or not there would be news about a reboot of the classic show.
Drake Bell updates fans on Drake and Josh reboot
Drake gave the update during an interview with E! The Rundown and a clip of the conversation was shared on TikTok.
“I know you and Josh Peck were speaking of a reboot possibility, where do we stand with that?” asked the interviewer.
“We would love to do something,” Drake replied. “There’s been talk throughout the years – especially when all the reboots were coming back.”
The child star went on to explain how he’d like the reboot to start by showing him approaching Josh to see if he would like to do it – and him pushing back against the idea at first.
This comes just days after Drake sat down for a lengthy conversation on Josh’s podcast, Good Guys, spoke with his former co-star about things that have happened since the show ended.

During the episode, Drake and Josh shared the many reasons why they drifted apart. They revealed that they both had their own personal issues to deal with, and their fallout made the news over the years as Drake publicly expressed being upset over not being invited to Josh’s wedding back in 2017.
