Extracted Episode 7’s shocking cliffhanger could change the game entirely

Families watch from the hub in Extracted Episode 7

After Episode 6 had a frustrating delay, we’re finally back in the game. Fans are all caught up with Extracted Episode 7, but its ending could mean the game is changed forever.

Let’s catch you up to speed. Fox’s new reality TV show follows a group of contestants battling it out over extreme challenges in a forest, much like Survivor. However, there’s one huge difference – their families are watching on and making crucial decisions… often not for their own relative.

They’re all competing for a cash prize of $250,000 in rural Canada on the new TV show, and that’s only drawing closer. Problem is, nothing could be as it seems.

If you caught the end of Extracted Episode 7, you’ll likely be confused over its ambiguous ending. Logic tells us that not knowing what comes next means the game could be able to change for good.

Extracted Episode 7 leaves players without any instructions in huge cliffhanger

Right at the end of Extracted Episode 7, a box is dropped into the middle of the lake via helicopter. Nobody knows what’s inside, no announcements have been made, and no players have been given any instructions. So what should fans expect to happen next?

As the old adage goes, expect the unexpected. Jakoben has already been struggling with a rollercoaster of emotions in Episode 6, being extracted much to the relief of his fellow contestants. We see him break down in tears beforehand, with Gerrad choosing to freeze his supply back at control.

After this, the arrival of our chopper with a mystery box leads Blake to think there’s already been another extraction. This is the one thing that’s definitely not the case, but even our families watching on are currently being kept in the dark about the next twist or turn.

The episode title? ‘Mystery Box’, of course. Seven of our contestants have been extracted so far, leaving the remaining five to battle it out for whatever’s inside – or maybe get as far away from it as possible.
