A lot happened in the opening three episodes, but here’s the basics: Cate (seemingly) feels bad for everything she did in Season 1, Starlight asked Marie to investigate Project Odessa (which is Marie), and Godolkin has a mysterious new dean, Cipher.

Gen V Season 2 Episode 4 will drop on Prime Video at 12am PT/3am ET on September 24.
This is the standard release time for Amazon shows (much like when Netflix releases films and series), and unlike Alien: Earth, it means people outside the US don’t need to stay up to the early hours or risk stuff getting spoiled when they wake up in the morning.

What happened in Gen V Season 2 Episode 3?
Prime VideoGen V Season 2 Episode 3 ended with Jordan confessing to nearly killing Cate, rather than agreeing to frame ‘Starlighters’ for the incident and use language like “transtastic.”
Before that, it was revealed that Marie wasn’t like other babies injected with Compound V. She was conceived in a clinic… and Cipher delivered her. Marie still wants to find her sister, Annabeth, and Sam is struggling to reconcile his actions in the first season.
