Prime VideoGen V just dropped a Season 2 teaser in the form of a parody Fall 2025 orientation video for Godolkin University, in which Homelander is leading the fight against “the woke agenda” – and it’s led to a rather timely joke.
At the end of The Boys Season 4, Butcher kills Victoria Neuman with his “super cancer” powers, martial law is declared, and Homelander is given the power to lead a new age of supes, enforcing the capture of all Starlighters.
All of this is, of course, building up towards a Butcher vs Homelander showdown in the fifth and final chapter of the superhero series. But before then, we’ve got Gen V Season 2, which will deal with rising tensions post-super-takeover while also setting up The Boys Season 5.
There’s also a central mystery at its core involving a secret program that goes back to the Godolkin University founder. In the new teaser, the mysterious new Dean Cipher tells students to “display your powers with pride” while hailing Homelander as supe leader.
The Boys fans demand “release the Herogasm files” after Gen V Season 2 teaser
The Boys creator Eric Kripke has previously said he sees Homelander as a metaphor for US president Donald Trump. As such, fans are joking that the new promo video is designed to distract attention away from the “Herogasm files”.
For the uninitiated, in real life, the Trump administration has been under increasing pressure – even from MAGA supporters – to release the full details of the investigation into late child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Back in June, Elon Musk and Trump got into an online feud, with a now-deleted tweet from the Tesla founder accusing the president of being in the Epstein files. Since then, there have been calls on the government to release the documents.

And since Homelander is portrayed as a patriotic culture warrior leading the war against the “woke agenda”, it’s led to the timely “Herogasm files” joke – referring to the massive supe orgy portrayed in The Boys Season 3.
Prime Video“RELEASE THE HEROGASM FILES,” wrote one, while another said, “Remember this is all a distraction from Homelander releasing the Herogasm files.” A third added, “Homelander is on the Herogasm files and he is deflecting!”
Others who are in on the joke are instead pretending they’re Homelanders. “I have already enrolled and I can’t wait for the new semester, but hopefully nothing bad happens like last year, thank god Cate and Sam were able to stop the massacre,” quipped one.
“Wish I could have gone to Godolkin; students studying there will surely work towards a brighter future for America,” said another, with a third added, “BRING STARLIGHT TO COURT! Glad to see that our future is in good hands.”
