NetflixIt’s a great time to be a Cyberpunk: Edgerunners fan. Not only is Season 2 of the anime series on the way, but the first chapter is getting Blu-ray release in the US very soon – here’s how to get yours now that pre-orders have gone live.
While CD Projekt Red’s open-world RPG Cyberpunk 2077 received a mixed response when it first debuted, the show upon which it’s based was a resounding success from the start – Cyberpunk: Edgerunners even revived interest in the original game.
Season 1 landed on Netflix in 2022, and though it was meant to be a standalone story, a second chapter was confirmed to be in development earlier this year, with a tragic but epic teaser trailer dropping in July.
While we wait for updates, another exciting piece of news has emerged from Night City: the first season box set is now available for pre-order in North America, and there’s one way to get your hands on it.
How to buy the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Blu-ray
As of August 29, American and Canadian fans can pre-order the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners complete series Blu-ray online via the Crunchyroll Store here. It will then be released on October 28, 2025.
Right now, it’ll set you back $123.98, down from $154.98, although this is subject to change. The anime platform also has a way to try and curb scalpers by limiting pre-orders to a maximum of three per customer.
As for what’s included, you’ll get a three-disc box containing all 10 episodes of the hit Netflix show, alongside a special booklet, a storyboard booklet, three animation cel sheets, and a two year anniversary poster.

The languages available with this Blu-ray include English, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish.
The news has been met with plenty of excitement from fellow chooms, with one writing, “I’m so happy,” and another stating, “It’s about high time choom.”
Others asked when the box set is coming to Europe, to which the show’s X/Twitter account replied, “Europe is coming too, we’ll share more details when we have them!”
Some fans felt the price was a little steep, especially as the show has been out for so long. “$120 for ten episodes no thanks,” said one, while another quipped, “And it’ll only cost you a kidney and half your soul…”

NetflixEven though the Blu-ray is a Crunchyroll Store exclusive, the show itself is a Netflix production, meaning Netflix is the only way to stream Cyberpunk: Edgerunners right now.
Similarly, the streaming service is backing Season 2, so this is where you’ll be able to watch it when it eventually drops.
Since it’s only in early production, we could be waiting until late 2026/early 2027 for Season 2’s release. Until then, you can relive the magic (and trauma) of its debut chapter – whether that’s digitally or via your new box set.
