There’s a sneaky way to watch South Park Season 27 Episode 5 for free

Kyle in South Park

After a long three weeks, South Park Season 27 Episode 5, ‘Conflict of Interest’, has finally arrived, and it’s another doozy. If you want to tune in, there’s a way to watch it for free.

A lot has gone down in the news cycle since Season 27 Episode 4. Charlie Kirk was killed, leading to Comedy Central pulling reruns of the second episode (which features Cartman doing a Kirk impression) from the air.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! was temporarily suspended, placing critic and FCC chairman Brendan Carr in the spotlight as a debate about free speech raged on. South Park fans have been waiting on tenterhooks wondering what creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone would go after next.

After another last-minute delay, Season 27 Episode 5 is here, and it doesn’t hold back, tackling Carr, free speech, Trump’s butt baby, and the Israel-Gaza conflict. Here’s how to tune in without spending a dime.

Why everyone’s talking about ‘Conflict of Interest’

The new South Park episode, ‘Conflict of Interest’, was one of the most anticipated in recent memory, and it does not hold back.

Season 27 Episode 5 ruthlessly mocks Donald Trump Jr. and online betting, while the POTUS spends much of the runtime in a cartoonish quest to get rid of his and Satan’s “butt baby”.

Eventually, this leads him to attempting to give Satan toxoplasmosis – an infection caused by a common parasite found in cat feces and undercooked meat, which is especially dangerous for pregnant women as it can harm the baby.

In South Park, FCC head Brendan Carr becomes infected, with a doctor warning he may “lose his freedom of speech.”

Elsewhere, the entire town is betting on Kyle’s mom Sheila bombing a Palestinian hospital. She voices her frustration at the conflict, pointing out that “it’s not Jews vs Palestine, it’s Israel vs Palestine.”

At her wits’ end, she goes straight to Israel to give Benjamin Netanyahu a piece of her mind. Oh, and JD Vance unveils his secret plan to be next in line as the president.

The episode has sparked a huge discussion on the TV show’s subreddit, with one writing, “I f**king loved that Little Vance went full blown evil. And that ending was just 10/10. Sheila doing a stand in for all actual Jews was brilliant.”

Another agreed, “That was my absolute favorite ending of the season, and that alone was worth the wait,” while a third added, “Perfect because that’s exactly the plan irl. Google Project 2025.”

A fourth chimed in, “Sheila is my new favorite character after tonight’s episode; and I loved when Carr’s prognosis is not being able to talk. Brilliant, I wasn’t a bit disappointed with Episode 5.”

When is Season 27 Episode 6 out?

If you agree, there’s some bad news: the next episode won’t be out for another three weeks.

South Park Season 27 was initially meant to be released weekly, but from the beginning there has been a two-week gap between each episode due to the fast turnaround of the series.

Parker, Stone, and their team write, animate, and edit new episodes in a matter of days, meaning delays aren’t unusual. The Season 27 release schedule officially switched to bi-weekly, but with Episode 5 needing more time, this has switched to tri-weekly.

The plan is to switch back to once every two weeks after Season 27 Episode 6, which will drop on October 15, 2025.
