MrBeast joins The Angry Birds Movie 3 as YouTuber continues acting career

Legendary YouTuber MrBeast has joined the cast of The Angry Birds Movie 3, adding yet another role to his acting career.

Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson is the most subscribed YouTuber on the platform and has been increasingly adding to his portfolio by expanding outside of the viral content he’s known for.

The creator notably launched Beast Games in 2024, an Amazon show where he served as the host.

He’s also ventured into the world of food with his chocolate bar brand Feastables and his restaurant MrBeast Burger. He’s even expressed interest in starting his own phone company.

Amid all these successes, however, he’s also been featured in some acting roles and his latest was revealed on September 18 as being part of The Angry Birds 3.

Angry Birds 3 adds MrBeast to cast

As reported by Deadline, MrBeast has joined the voice cast of The Angry Birds Movie 3, appearing alongside Webby Award winner Salish Matter. Their specific roles remain under wraps.

Returning cast members include Jason Sudeikis as Red, Josh Gad as Chuck, Rachel Bloom as Silver, Anthony Padilla as Hal, Ian Hecox as Bubbles, and Danny McBride as Bomb.

The film will be directed by John Rice, whose credits span Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe, Rick and Morty, and Bob’s Burgers.

In 2023, MrBeast had a small role in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, and a year after that, voiced Panda Pig in Kung Fu Panda 4.

The YouTuber also had his biggest role yet, appearing in Volume 4 of Netflix’s Love, Death & Robots where he got to play into his game show host persona in the form of the Master of Ceremonies.
