HBO MaxPeacemaker Season 2 Episode 4 will see Chris return from the alternate dimension – and it’s set to reveal the truth behind the Unfolding Quantum Chamber.
After one too many rejections from Harcourt, Chris stumbled into the alternate dimension in Episode 3, once again reuniting with his not-so-late brother Keith and meeting “Thirstcourt” for the first time.
Everything seems… good over there. The world loves Peacemaker, kids cry out of joy when he speaks to them, and (even though it freaked him out at first) Rick Flag Jr is still alive.
Fans already have their suspicions about the alternate dimension being ‘Earth X’, but before we get to that, Chris needs to face the chaos brewing back home in Episode 4.

Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 4 will be available to stream on HBO Max at 6pm PT/9pm ET on Thursday, September 11.

There are eight episodes in Peacemaker Season 2.
One episode is being released per week, with Gunn telling his social media followers that “the anticipation and conversation around dropping an episode week to week is part of the fun.”
What happened in Peacemaker Season 2 Episode 3?
HBO MaxPeacemaker Season 2 Episode 3 mostly followed Chris in the alternate dimension, where he took out a seemingly villainous group called the Sons of Liberty.
The episode opened with the alternate Harcourt and her boyfriend… Rick Flag Jr, on the same day he’s expected to be shipped out to Corto Maltese.

After quizzing his brother to find out how to find Harcourt, Chris meets up with her (after an awkward encounter with a jealous and dorky Flag, which Chris struggles to process), and it becomes clear that not only were they in a relationship, but he broke up with her.
They’re interrupted by a big explosion, so Chris gets to work and kills all of the Sons of Liberty members, and those who escape die after Keith destroys their getaway helicopter like a missile.
At the end of the episode, Chris texts Harcourt to say he may be off-grid for a little while because he has some work to do. In reality, he’s going back home – but he doesn’t know there’s an armed squad waiting for him, assembled by Sasha Bordeaux and Rick Flag. Also, Judomaster is back, and Bordeaux has hired Red St. Wild, the world’s foremost eagle hunter, to find and kill Eagly.
While appearing on the Peacemaker podcast, James Gunn also revealed that Episode 4 will tell people “where Chris got the Quantum Unfolding Chamber.”
