There’s one big reason you need to watch Suits LA Episode 4

Harvey Specter in Suits LA Episode 4

Suits LA Episode 4, titled ‘Batman Returns’, will finally give fans of the original series a reason to tune in; let’s just say, it’s a wrecking ball, and it’s heading your way.

It’s been an iffy start for Suits LA. Its viewership has enjoyed a big boost from streaming on Peacock, lifting its premiere from 2.61 million viewers to over 4.7 million. Reviews haven’t been great, with its critic and audience Rotten Tomatoes scores averaging 40%.

It was always a big gamble. You could argue the spinoff was greenlit almost entirely off the back of Suits’ renewed success on streaming – and as much as Peacock was partly to thank, Netflix led to its dominance over other titles in 2023.

However, if you’re thinking about ditching the new series, you may want to wait one more week.

Ted and Harvey in Suits LA Episode 4

NBC has released a teaser for Suits LA Episode 4, confirming Gabriel Macht will reprise his role as Harvey Specter in next week’s episode.

In the small clip (which seems to be a flashback, as Eddie appears to be alive), Ted sits with Eddie and Harvey at a bar. He orders them Guinness, but Harvey says, “We’re not gonna drink that… Macallan 25, three of them.”

This could be the moment Ted met Harvey, since we know they’re old friends who went to university together, and Ted worked as a federal prosecutor in New York.

According to Deadline, “in the past, the danger of going against a mob boss sends Ted to an old friend.”

Speaking to Extra TV, Macht teased: “I’m here to pass the baton and give some support to the show and just say, ‘I believe in it, I believe in the universe, and there’s an opportunity to play and it’s exciting and makes sense, come on back for a little while.’

“I can tell you that Ted and Harvey come from the same cloth, I can tell you that when someone sends a signal, someone appears. I think they mean a lot to each other and their friendship goes deep. He’s in trouble, it’s personal, and it’s very similar to how Harvey responds to certain things.”

That’s not all: while it won’t be next week, Rick Hoffman is set to appear as Louis Litt at some point in the first season.
