NBCSuits LA is about launch, telling a new Suits story in a glamorous new city, while also adding some familiar faces to the mix.
The first iteration of Suits launched on the USA Network in 2011 and immediately became a hit, thanks to the show’s combination of comedy and drama, and the chemistry between leads Gabriel Macht and Patrick J. Adams.
Macht played Harvey Specter, head of a New York law firm, while Adams was Mike Ross, who becomes his brilliant associate, despite never having attended law school.
The show ended in 2019, but received a new lease of life when episodes dropped on Netflix, where it became one of the streamer’s most binged shows, which in turn precipitated the creation of new spinoff series called Suits LA.

Suits revolves around Ted Black – played by Stephen Amell – navigating the high-stakes world of entertainment law, while reconnecting with a friend and colleague from his past in the shape of Harvey Specter.

Here’s the show’s official synopsis: “Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York, has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. His firm is at a crisis point, and in order to survive, he must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career.
“Ted is surrounded by a stellar group of characters who test their loyalties to both Ted and each other while they can’t help but mix their personal and professional lives. Where to watch Suits LA
NBCSuits LA airs on NBC in the US, with episodes dropping straight after new documentary The Americas.
Each installment will also be available to stream the next day on Peacock. If you miss that first run, every episode will be repeated on NBC on Fridays at 8pm ET/PT.
There’s no word yet regarding a home for the show in the UK, but we’ll update this article when it finds a channel. One thing is clear: it won’t be on Netflix for the foreseeable future.
