The Devil’s Plan Season 2 Part 1 has arrived on Netflix, bringing with it a whole host of new contestants and a Single’s Inferno crossover you may not have spotted.
In the realm of reality TV, The Devil’s Plan and Single’s Inferno couldn’t be more different – one deals with betrayal, strategy, and brainpower, while the other centers on dates, drama, and sunsets.
One thing they share in common is that they’re both entertaining as hell. While Single’s Inferno Season 5 isn’t dropping until later this year, we’ve got the second chapter of The Devil’s Plan to enjoy right now.
Officially subtitled Death Room, the first four episodes introduce 14 new cast members (a bump up from the previous 12) and even trickier games, as well as a familiar face.
Single’s Inferno host Kyuhyun joins The Devil’s Plan Season 2 cast

Yes, among the players is Cho Kyu-hyun, aka Kyuhyun, a famous South Korean singer and entertainer. But there’s another reason you might recognize him: he’s one of five Single’s Inferno hosts.
Alongside Dex, Hong Jin-kyung, Lee Da-hee, and Hanhae, he provides commentary on the various events of the Netflix dating show. Kyuhyun first rose to fame as a member of the popular K-pop group Super Junior.
After joining the group in 2006, he went on to launch his solo career with his first EP ‘At Gwanghwanmun’ in 2014. While his music career has continued to flourish, he’s also become a regular on variety shows like King of Masked Singer, New Journey to the West, and We Got Married.
Now, his competitive side is on full display in The Devil’s Plan Season 2, where he’s earning plenty of praise for his strategic yet respectful gameplay.

In light of the debate about players using deception to get ahead, one viewer wrote about “Kyuhyun in the first game, betraying Ji-yong even when she said she would hold a grudge if there is a corrupt cop in her team.”
“You would expect her to be guns blazing and going rogue to take Kyuhyun down, but him being likable and reasonable to her makes their relationship good again,” they said.

Another commented, “This season Kyuhyun arguably ‘betrayed’ his group in the cop game, but he was still so nice and fun to watch.”
“Kyuhyun going around apologizing to his team and even went on his knees in front of Kang Ji-young cracked me up tbh,” added a third.
He’s also popular with the Single’s Inferno crowd, with one sharing a post about his addition to The Devil’s Plan Season 2 cast.
“He is smart and funny. I like him… will watch The Devil’s Plan to see his performance there,” wrote one, while another said, “Loved him to bits on the Single’s Inferno Season 4 panel. He cracked me up every time.”
A third added, “As a fan of Single’s Inferno and EXChange/Transit Love, I was Leonardo-DiCaprio-pointing-at-screen-meme happy to see Kyuhyun and Hyun-gyu rock up. Was not expecting that!”
