Blessed be the fruit – The Handmaid’s Tale Season 6 is finally here, and the premiere of the sixth and final installment will be dropping multiple episodes at the same time.
Standing tall as one of the best dystopian TV shows on the market, the adaptation of Margaret Atwood’s nightmare novel first hit screens in 2017. Now, after eight years, Season 6 is here to close things out.
Season 5 ended on a huge cliffhanger: Luke had just been arrested, with June and Nichole managing to get on a train out of Canada. But June wasn’t alone – she found herself coming face-to-face with Serena once again, who was trying to comfort baby Noah.
It was an intense reunion, and fans have had to be patient for almost three years to find out what happens next. Thankfully, the long wait is now over.

What is The Handmaid’s Tale Season 6 about?
While the exact plot for The Handmaid’s Tale Season 6 has remained under wraps, we know it’ll follow June as she continues her fight to take down Gilead for good.
Luke and Moira will join the resistance, and based on the trailer, it looks like June will be enlisting the help of other handmaids in the rebellion.

According to the season’s synopsis, June’s “unyielding spirit and determination pull her back into the fight to take down Gilead. Luke and Moira join the resistance.
“Serena tries to reform Gilead while Commander Lawrence and Aunt Lydia reckon with what they have wrought, and Nick faces challenging tests of character.
“This final chapter of June’s journey highlights the importance of hope, courage, solidarity, and resilience in the pursuit of justice and freedom.”
Since there’s also an adaptation of The Testaments in the works, we can also expect this final season to lay the groundwork for the follow-up series.
