The Rookie Season 7 Episode 17, titled ‘Mutiny and the Bounty,’ will air on May 6, 2025, on ABC at 9pm ET.

An official runtime hasn’t been revealed yet, but we can expect Season 7 Episode 17 to clock in at around 45 minutes.

Season 7 Episode 17 will follow the team helping skip tracer Randy when his new love interest is kidnapped. Angela and Nyla also enlist their moms to help catch a con artist while Wesley is threatened to drop a case.

Unfortunately for John, Randy’s love interest is Chastity – his brother’s girlfriend. She’s then piled into a van before video footage shows her bound and gagged in an unknown location. The kidnappers want $15 million, and it’s up to John to save the day.
The SWAT team moves in, ramming down doors and windows on their way. Episode 17 looks to end with a face-off against John and the unknown kidnapper, telling them, “It’s over. If you want out, you gotta go through me.”
