You don’t need college tuition to stream Gen V Season 2, but you may not need to pay any money at all – there’s one way to watch it for free.
Gen V is the first live-action spinoff of The Boys (if you haven’t watched its animated series, Diabolical, you should check that out). While it includes some familiar faces, like Homelander and Starlight, it mainly focuses on a group of students at Godolkin University, a Vought-owned college for supes.
Season 2 follows Marie, Emma, and Jordan as they return to the university, where they’re forced to wear corporate smiles and cooperate with Cate, Sam, and especially Cipher, the new dean.
With The Boys Season 5 coming out next year, you cannot miss Gen V Season 2, so here’s how you can watch it.
How to watch Gen V Season 2 for free
Amazon offers 30-day free trials for Prime subscriptions (including Prime Video). So, if you activate your free trial now, you’ll be able to watch almost all of Gen V Season 2 without paying a dime.
The first three episodes all dropped at once on September 17, and the remaining five episodes will drop weekly. If you have 30 days, you’ll be able to watch Episodes 1-7 before your trial ends.
Unfortunately, that does leave Episode 8, the Season 2 finale. That pretty much only leaves you with two options: you could create a new Amazon account with a different email and start another free trial, or you bite the bullet and pay for Prime Video for one month so you can see the last episode.

Can you stream Gen V anywhere else?

No, Gen V is exclusively available to stream via Prime Video.
The same can’t be said for The Boys, which can be bought or rented digitally from other VOD platforms like Apple TV. The first season is available on Blu-ray, so you could buy it physically.
If you sign up for Prime Video’s cheapest plan with ads, it costs $15 per month, so if you wait until next week to start your subscription, you could catch up with Episodes 1-3, watch the rest of the series as it airs, and then cancel your plan.
