Team CherryHollow Knight: Silksong officially launched at 10 am EST on September 4, immediately drawing massive attention from players worldwide.
The release overwhelmed digital storefronts, with Steam, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo eShop all experiencing crashes shortly after launch. Even with the disruption, the game passed 100,000 concurrent players within its first 30 minutes.

Twitch adds Hornet badge for Silksong fans
Shortly after the launch of Silksong, Twitch revealed a new badge that fans can earn while watching streams on the platform.
“Subscribe or gift a sub while watching a streamer in the Hollow Knight: Silksong category to receive the Hornet badge,” they said.
