Kai Cenat is now live with Mafiathon 3. Here’s how you can watch along and catch up on the best moments so far.
Kai Cenat broke out in large part thanks to his first-ever Mafiathon stream. The 2023 marathon broadcast shattered records as the Kai Mafia turned out in droves to support their favorite streamer, making him the most-subscribed-to personality on Twitch.
At the tail end of 2024, Kai ran it back. After briefly losing the Twitch sub record to VTuber IronMouse, he reclaimed the throne in December that year, ending the 30-day stream with 728,535 subscriptions.
To this day, the record remains his, but he’s continuing the tradition and keeping Mafiathon as an annual event. Mafiathon 3 is now live, and there’s already plenty to catch up on.
Mafiathon 3 date & start time
Mafiathon 3 started on Monday, September 1, from 6PM PT.
“The next time you see me stream is the first day of Mafiathon 3,” Kai told viewers on August 18. “See y’all soon.”
The exact start date and time were later confirmed through his action-packed trailer shared on social media on August 26.
Mafiathon 3 highlights
With over 300,000 fans watching along, Kai started the highly anticipated stream by zooming out on Miles Caton from Sinners, seemingly performing live to kick things off with a bang.
From there, we quickly went from an orchestral performance to the Jabbawockeez and now, it’s off to the races. Mafiathon 3 is in full swing and every hour could bring something unexpected.
Mafiathon 3 trailer
The official trailer for Mafiathon 3 dropped on August 26, and featured Michael B. Jordan.
The Hollywood star asks Kai if Mafiathon 3 is really the last one, to which Kai seemingly confirms. “It’s a trilogy. So this time we’ve gotta go bigger. This time, we’re going for a million subscribers.”

What else to expect from Mafiathon 3
“I’ve put my everything into this right here,” Kai said after the big announcement.
As always with any Kai Cenat stream, fans are never quite sure what might happen next. One moment could see the streamer grinding through a difficult game, another might turn to a studio tour with Snoop Dogg. Anything is possible.
Expect plenty of fun surprises and hilarious moments from start to finish, though, as Kai’s team no doubt has tons prepared to keep fans entertained.
It’s safe to expect a few weeks of non-stop entertainment, too, as both previous Mafiathons have run for 30 days each.
Who else will appear throughout Mafiathon 3?
The first confirmed celebrity guest for Mafiathon 3 was Kim Kardashian. The two have worked together in the past but this was Kim’s first time on the livestream in an official capacity.
The first confirmed celebrity guest was Kim Kardashian, marking her official debut on Kai’s channel. The usuals like Druski and Fanum have already made appearances, but there’s no telling who else could drop in before the marathon ends. Given Michael B. Jordan was featured in the trailer, more A-list names remain possible as the weeks go on.

From basketball legends to the world’s most popular musicians, nothing is off the table. More cultural icons are likely to pop up throughout the event, as has become expected from Kai’s marathon streams.
