Kai Cenat has revealed that he wanted to stream in space, and was actually supposed to make it happen this year. One crucial thing held him back, however.
Cenat is among the biggest names in the streaming space today, and he’s still continuing to push for new records and world-firsts in his jam-packed Mafiathon event.
His style is often over-the-top as he tends to go all the way to entertain his fans, whether that be revealing his Fortnite skin via the Las Vegas Sphere or collaborating with a ton of mainstream celebrities, to things like building Streamer University, and pulling off some of the wildest setups out there.
As if those weren’t impressive enough, it turns out that Kai has plans that are literally out of this world, openly declaring his dream of streaming in space.
Kai revealed he was supposed to go to space
Recently, Kai Cenat appeared as a guest on The Jennifer Hudson Show. At one point during the talk show, he teased that he wanted to “leak something.” In his own words, he claimed that he was supposed to go into space this year.
Except… There was one issue. Kai said there was a “3% chance” he could die in the process, a risk that clearly kept him grounded this time.
As he put it: “I just want to go to outer space and say: ‘Yo, what’s up chat?’” He doubled down, adding: “Yeah, that’s what I want to do. I wanna float real quick and come right back down.”
If Kai manages to pull it off, he wouldn’t be the first famous person to make headlines for going to space. Earlier this year, Katy Perry made waves with an 11-minute flight that reportedly cost millions. She also immediately became a hot topic after kissing the ground when she landed back on Earth.
