Twitch streamer TimTheTatman broke down in tears, revealing he was rushed to the emergency room after suffering a health scare related to his heart.
During a September broadcast, TimTheTatman, one of Twitch’s biggest stars, explained to his viewers that he’d started suffering from heart palpitations in the middle of the night while staying in Las Vegas.
After trying to go back to bed and being unable to shake the issue, Tim and his wife decided to head to urgent care, where the doctor revealed he had an irregular, very rapid heart rhythm.
From there, Tim was rushed to the ER and learned his BPM was 170, a “very high” and “scary number,” the streamer said.
Despite being given medicine, his heart rate wouldn’t go down, so the YouTuber had to sign a waiver letting the doctors shock him and restore his heart rate to normal.

TimTheTatman calls health scare a “reality check”
While everything was okay after that, Tim says this was a major “wake up call” and broke down, noting how his mother had her first heart attack at 40 before dying 10 years later.
“Sometimes in life, I think God hits you with a wake up call, and I think that was my wake up call,” he said. “I don’t want to get emotional with y’all, sorry. There was obviously a lot of emotions.”
The Twitch streamer then ended up breaking down and needed to wipe away his tears over the situation.

According to Tim, his cardiologist told him he could resume normal activity, but he’s taking it easy and doing more for his health, such as going for runs, drinking decaf coffee, and laying off the alcohol.
“For now guys, no Michelob Ultras,” he joked. “No alcohol for me for the foreseeable future.”
