Best PC settings for graphics & FPS

Battlefield 6 has huge maps, dozens of players, and tons of destruction, so if you haven’t set up the game right, you might experience low frames per second (FPS) and stuttering issues.

DICE’s large-scale shooter has loads of different settings to navigate and choose from, so we’re breaking down the best PC settings to make sure the game is running as smoothly as possible.

It really depends on your rig, but these settings provide a good balance between FPS and visuals. While we’ve set Texture Quality and Texture Filtering to High, these are VRAM-heavy settings, so feel free to lower them if you’ve crossed the threshold.

Advanced Settings

It’s important to have NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency Enabled, whether that’s Boost or Regular. And while we wouldn’t normally recommend using DLSS for a multiplayer game, YouTuber Stodeh said he didn’t notice in input lag when using it at the event, so it’s worth having it on and set to Quality.

Camera Settings

Field of View is down to personal preference, but 105 offers a nice middle ground between seeing your surroundings without making far-off targets shrunken and hard to hit. You’ll also want to turn off any effects like Motion Blur, Camera Shake, and Film Grain, as these cause unnecessary visual noise.

Display

You should make sure VSync is turned off, as it’ll ensure you’re not missing out on any frames your PC is capable of. However, if you’re getting screen tearing, it’s worth testing out.

Interface and HUD

While you should always have the HUD on (unless you’re looking for full immersion), you can turn off Soldier HUD and Vehicle HUD Motion, as this will stop it from bouncing around as you move around the map.
