  • The Forge
  • Toshin
  • Exposure
  • Cortez
  • Scar
  • Den
  • Homestead
  • Colossus
  • Imprint
  • Dry Dock
  • Retrieval
  • Paranoia
  • Express (Black Ops 2)
  • Raid (Black Ops 2)
  • Hijacked (Black Ops 2)
  • Black Heart

There are 16 regular maps available at launch for Black Ops 7, designed for traditional 6v6 matches. BO2 fans will instantly recognize Express, Raid, and Hijacked, as they all first appeared in the 2012 classic.

The number is only set to grow over time as well, as more maps will be released in seasonal updates.

There also won’t be any manual doors in multiplayer. These doors, which you had to interact with, first appeared in Modern Warfare 2019’s multiplayer, and despite a ton of backlash, have appeared in every entry since. However, BO7 bucks the trend.

Skirmish maps

  • Mission Edge
  • Mission Tide

There will also be two maps on day one that are specifically designed for Skirmish, BO7’s new 20v20 mode. Both take place in Avalon, the fictional region where many of BO6’s maps are found, and the setting of a reportedly scrapped battle royale map for Warzone.

Again, expect more to be added over the course of the game’s lifecycle, but these larger areas will be a great way to find your footing in the new mode.

Post-launch maps

The devs revealed that more Black Ops 2 remasters will be coming to the game in post-launch seasons.

They said one of the maps was a competitive Search and Destroy map that’s “coming back for the first time since Black Ops 2,” which means it’s most likely Meltdown. Express, Raid, and Standoff have featured in various CoD titles since, including Black Ops 7, so that only leaves Meltdown.

They teased another, which “will have you thinking you’re the best in the game,” and that can only be Yemen. It was on this map that Scump’s iconic “Who’s the best in the game?” callout happened.
