Best Coaches for Manager Career Mode
While EA FC 26’s Manager Career allows the buying and selling of players on the transfer market, it also offers the option to sign coaches to a player’s team. These can help boost player OVR ratings, but there are plenty to choose from and they all have different skillsets.
These need to be assigned to slots in your team, with each section requiring a certain number of stars. For example, in the screenshot below, 19 stars are recommended for attacking players. Vito De Angelis offers 4 stars for attackers, so you’ll need to find other stars to help reach that number.

Here are some of the best coaches we’ve found so far, across Attacking, Midfield, Defence, and Goalkeeper categories. Please note, we are updating this page.

Things to consider when hiring a coach

Coaches are assigned a Tactical Vision, and will perform better when slotted into a team that matches that vision. For example, Salvatore Valente is a 5-star coach when it comes to midfield coaching, but he’s best deployed with the Kick and Run Tactical Vision.
Some coaches are adaptable, and can be used in different slots, too. Sarolta Papp, for example, can be a defensive coach or a goalkeeper coach, with five stars in both categories.
You’ll also need to be mindful of the club’s budget and the weekly salary demands on coaches. Unlike player transfers, coaches won’t negotiate their salaries, and you may need to pay for a cheaper coach if your main target is too expensive.
