Deeper Simulation Explained in Career Mode
EA FC 26 has plenty of new additions this year, and one of the most interesting is Deeper Simulation.
It only applies to Manager Career, but allows for other leagues in your save to be simulated in the same way as the one you’re playing in.
For example, you can be playing as manager of a club in Italy, but have the game also run simulations of Spanish, French, English, and German leagues. Doing so helps the mode feel much more like playing in a larger footballing sandbox.
What’s included in Deeper Simulation?

EA says historical stats, like goalscorers, assists, fixtures, and results will be included in Deeper Simulation, allowing you to identify top performers in other leagues to be able to make a new signing.
A real-world example would be Arsenal’s pursuit of Viktor Gyökeres. In previous EA FC titles, his goal-scoring record would have gone totally under the radar, but now you’ll be able to see a player’s goal-to-game record to help sign someone of that ilk.
These are the stats EA has collected from the 24 – 25 season, so there are already plenty of stats when you start a new save:
- Top Scorers
- Assists
- Clean Sheets
- Yellow Cards
- Red Cards
- Average Ratings
How to turn on Deeper Simulation

To enable Deeper Simulation, you’ll need to start a new Manager Career. Navigate to Quick Settings, and then switch on Deeper Simulation.
Performance Warning
When enabling Deeper Simulation, EA warns that “this setting can have a significant impact on performance”.
This will be slower movement through the in-game calendar primarily, but on-pitch action won’t be affected. This writer is testing on PS5 Pro, and there’s very minimal slowdown, but your mileage may vary on other consoles or PC.
