How to get free packs
You’ll need to open packs if you want to progress in EA FC 26, and there are plenty of ways to get them for free without spending any coins.
Packs are absolutely crucial to Ultimate Team. Whether you want to upgrade your squad with new talent or complete SBCs to unlock better cards, eventually, you need to get a steady stream of players coming into your club.
The easiest way to get them is by using coins or FC Points to buy them straight from the store, but these are often better saved for future promos. So, here are some ways to get free packs to kick-start your season.
Objectives
The easiest way to get hold of free packs is by completing objectives. EA consistently offers up new challenges that unlock valuable rewards, such as the Foundations objective, which are nice and easy to complete while providing some pretty useful packs.
But if you want the best packs, you should look to complete the Milestone challenges. These are based on the number of matches and wins you get in each mode, and some even dish out packs worth over 50,000 coins.
Completing objectives also earns XP, which levels up your Season Progress, and many of the higher tiers also give out packs.
SBCs

Another option is completing SBCs, as these also reward you with packs for submitting squads of players that fulfil certain requirements. Options are fairly limited early on, but you can get a Mega Pack for finishing the Golden Generation SBC.
Of course, the downside here is that you need to have a lot of players in your club already, but if you have the spare fodder, they’re well worth investing in.
Play Squad Battles, Rivals, and Champs
It may seem obvious, but playing competitive modes like Rivals and Champs is easily the best way to get the best packs, depending on your rank. These make up the bulk of Ultimate Team’s weekly content, so you’re likely already spending a lot of time in them.
But make sure you don’t neglect Squad Battles. The rewards on offer aren’t quite as substantial, but the ability to choose your difficulty means they’re a relatively low-stress way to earn more players.
Play Rush

Another mode that gives away a lot of packs is Rush. Playing and winning matches of the 5v5 mode awards Rush Points, and reaching specific milestones grants increasingly useful rewards.
You can check your progress from the Campaign tab of the objectives menu, and your progress resets every Tuesday, meaning you can grind them every week.
Twitch Drops
All of the methods listed above require some kind of time commitment, but Twitch Drops is the only way to get packs in EA FC 26 for doing literally nothing. All you have to do is link your Twitch and EA accounts, and you’ll receive packs throughout the year free of charge.
