A YouTube daredevil has been arrested after going nearly 200MPH on a motorcycle, and was only caught after uploading the video.

22-year-old Brice Bennett of the YouTube channel ‘s1krocket’ was arrested in April 2025 and charged with reckless endangerment and reckless driving.

Back in May 2024, Bennett uploaded a video to his channel where he allegedly tore up a Connecticut highway in his Honda CBR 1000RR Fireblade at 192MPH, weaving in and out of traffic.

The video has been viewed over 4M times since, but its viral nature ended up coming back to haunt the YouTuber, as it ultimately led to his arrest.

According to the New York Post, the video’s success resulted in an anonymous tip to Gov. Ned Lamont’s office, who shared the info with police.

Although the video claimed “All content is filmed in Mexico and has no affiliation to the poster in any way,” the police determined that the footage was filmed in Connecticut. Furthermore, they were able to trace the account back to Bennett.

“Based on Bennett’s YouTube and Instagram accounts, he has been found to drive recklessly, exceeding 85 miles per hour with ease,” the authorities alleged in a warrant. “Bennett unsafely passes other motorists, creating a high risk of physical injury to others and himself.”

The police say that so far in 2025, the YouTuber has posted 16 videos “indicating ongoing instances of his unsafe and illegal driving habits,” including clips from other states.

The YouTuber was arrested and released on a $5,000 bond with his court date set for April 29.

This is hardly the first YouTuber where the need for speed eventually caught up with him. Last year, the infamous street racer Squeeze Benz was arrested after allegedly taunting cops and sharing footage of various traffic violations throughout the Tri-State area.
