MrBeast has to have a “Jimmy fund” for massive unexpected expenses

MrBeast’s Beast Industries now has a “Jimmy Fund” for any unexpected expenses, like when the YouTube star decides to make a big charitable donation.

When Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson first rose to fame on YouTube, his videos were pretty much all based on money. He’d challenge his friends and strangers to face their fears or complete random acts in order to win a car or a big sum of cash.

He’s recently tried to give away a private jet, and, at one point, even bought a private island to make videos on. The money aspect of his videos has not gone away, even though he noted they’ve tried to focus less on spectacle content.

His Beast Industries, though, has budgeted for a massive year. In fact, CEO Jeff Housenbold told Bloomberg that there had been a budget of $800 million for 2025. Though, he did mention bringing that down by $100 million.

Housenbold did, however, admit that they’ve now started a “Jimmy fund” for any unexpected expenses.

That was spawned by MrBeast deciding to donate $400,000 to his own Team Water fund, which involved Jimmy calling his CEO during a stream to tell him that the donation was being made.

Team Water has already achieved its goal of raising $40 million, with Jimmy popping in with a few donations.

On top of that, Housenbold has negotiated deals to get Beast Industries a discount on purchasing lavish cars, including Tesla and Lamborghini.

Yet, Jimmy admitted that “more money” doesn’t always “equal more views” anyway. “If I were to give a random person on the street a million dollars, a lot of people who see that video, especially because we have a very international audience—they just don’t think it’s real,” he added.
