YouTube star MrBeast is publicly praising IShowSpeed after the streamer admitted that he needed to speak with a therapist to help his mental health.

IShowSpeed is currently in the midst of his tour across the United States, one of several such adventures he’s shared with his millions of fans over the years.

While he’s dealt with plenty of stressful situations during his numerous trips abroad — from fleeing from hordes of fans in Amsterdam to nearly getting charged with inciting a riot in Dallas — Speed opened up about his mental health in a surprisingly vulnerable moment on September 21.

“Listen, I woke up on the wrong side of the bed,” he said on day 23 of his ambitious 35-day stream. “It’s a lot. I need a therapist. I need a therapist. I need to have a talk with a therapist. My mental is like…”

“I need a therapist. Like, I need somebody to talk to. Cuz I feel alone. I feel like nobody understands me,” he continued.

Speed’s unexpected discussion about his mental health sparked both concern and praise from fans, many of whom urged the streamer to take it easy during such a grueling, non-stop broadcast.

Even YouTube icon MrBeast chimed in, responding to Dexerto’s tweet covering Speed’s remarks on September 22.

“Being live in front of people 24/7 like he is is harder than most people realize,” the YouTuber mused. “Especially with how big he’s gotten and the expectations that brings. Hope he gets his head in the right space, because the only thing that could ever stop Speed is himself.”

Reactions to MrBeast’s comment were largely positive and sympathetic, with one user writing, “I’m proud that he understands that about himself and already admits he needs help. That’s a big step in the right direction.”

“Yes, true, Speed can do anything. I hope he gets the help he needs,” another said.

Speed’s USA tour has been uniquely challenging due to the sheer amount of fans who have been following him during his stream. He has been forced to confront these fans on multiple occasions for such offenses as smashing a window at a restaurant while he was eating and even driving dangerously close to his tour bus.

Speed isn’t the only one who’s done 24/7 streaming marathons; fellow broadcaster Kai Cenat’s Mafiathons have garnered similar viewership, forcing the influencer to push through and entertain his fans even at the cost of his own physical health.

In fact, Cenat has claimed that he will no longer do Mafiathons, with his Mafiathon 3 being the “final chapter” of the viral nonstop streams that catapulted him to internet fame.
