Ariel Fulmer has revealed how she first found out about her ex-husband, Ned Fulmer’s, affair, which led to his departure from The Try Guys in 2022.

As one of the original member of the Try Guys YouTube group, Fulmer was constantly talking about his marriage to his then wife, Ariel, earning him the title of ‘wife guy’ amongst fans.

In September 2022, however, Fulmer was exposed for cheating with a company employee, leading to him being ousted from the group.

Speaking on the debut episode of Ned’s new podcast Rock Bottom, Ariel said she discovered the affair when fans sent her a photo of him and the employee. At first, she believed the woman pictured with Ned was his sister, before realizing it was a colleague.

The news left Ariel feeling unsafe and distrustful, she explained, adding that she withdrew from others in the aftermath.

“I found out about your affair from the fans,” she said. “I was so blindsided that somebody sent me a picture, and I couldn’t — it was like my brain couldn’t compute,” she continued. “For some reason, I couldn’t see what was actually there. I thought it was your sister. And I remember sending it to you and being like, ‘What’s your sister doing in New York?’

“And I think back on that, and I’m like, how did I not see what was going on. What was so f**ked up in my brain that I couldn’t see what was happening in that picture?”

Still co-parenting

During the podcast, the couple confirmed they are no longer romantically together. However, they emphasized that they remain friends and continue to co-parent their children. Ariel said they still take trips together as a family, despite the separation.
