YouTuber PopularMMOs announced that he has been out of prison for 100 days after violating his probation when a May 2025 urine analysis tested positive for alcohol and marijuana.
Patrick ‘Pat’ Julianelle is a prominent YouTuber with over 17 million subscribers, best known for his gaming content and videos about Minecraft, in particular.
His channel stopped being active in 2023, and in November 2024, Julianelle pled guilty to assaulting a police officer. The offense was captured on police body cameras, the footage from which was released to the public in May 2025.
In the footage, Julianelle was found sleeping on the sidewalk next to a residential street. When officers came to the scene, they found “weed and a ton of Fireball” in his backpack. It’s worth noting that recreational marijuana is illegal in the state of Florida, where the ordeal took place. In a panic, Pat tried to flee the scene, resulting in a scuffle with police.
Following this, Pat was sentenced to 12 months probation and 100 hours of community service, including mandatory substance abuse evaluation and follow-up treatment. He was also ordered to donate $1,000 to the Police Memorial Foundation and pen a letter of apology to the officer he’d assaulted.
In February 2025, Pat was arrested for violating his parole after a urine analysis tested positive for drug use in December 2024. A warrant was issued for the YouTuber’s arrest in May 2025 due to another parole violation after marijuana and alcohol were found in his urine.
Fans praise PopularMMOs as YouTuber makes long-awaited comeback
On September 18, 2025, Pat returned to social media with a series of photos from his life over the last few months, showing himself working out, receiving treatment at a hospital, and walking outdoors.
