YouTuber Max Fosh literally stole his friend’s car from under his nose and entered it into a demolition derby, where the vehicle was subsequently totaled beyond recognition.

Max Fosh is an English YouTuber with over four million subscribers. He’s best known for his viral videos pranking his buddies and getting himself into absurd situations.

Most recently, Fosh legally ‘died’ in order to receive a $50 refund for an airline ticket he wasn’t able to use — and now, he’s somehow managed to go a step further on the ridiculous scale.

YouTuber pranks friend by stealing & wrecking his car

In a YouTube video uploaded on July 9, Fosh pulled another wild prank on his friend. However, this wasn’t your average practical joke — Fosh actually stole his friend’s black Volvo V40 in the middle of the night.

But why did he do this in the first place? As it happens, Max is friends with two twin brothers, Patrick and Hugo. According to Patrick, Hugo is always rubbing the fact that his brother can’t drive in his face, while he can.

To get revenge on his sibling, Patrick asked Fosh to pull a prank on Hugo. “I’d love for him to know what it feels like to not be able to drive,” he said in a facetime call with Fosh.

Patrick gave Fosh a spare set of keys, and the YouTuber made off with the vehicle in the early hours of the morning with no one the wiser.

“I feel so naughty,” the YouTuber admitted as he pulled onto the street.

Fosh then took the car to a specialized mechanic, who prepared it for participation in a demolition derby. This included breaking the windows, sealing the doors shut, and taking out any loose materials that might fly off during the competition. Fosh even spraypainted ‘Hi Hugo!’ on the side.

Finally, he took Patrick and Hugo to the racetrack under the guise of a ‘pattern recognition test’ he was doing for a fictitious YouTube video. Eventually, Hugo got wise and sussed out his Volvo on the track — but only after his friends connected the dots for him.

“Hi Hugo!” Hugo waved with a smile. “It’s a Volvo, as well!”

“Hugo, why do you think it says, ‘Hi Hugo,’ on it?” Fosh asked. “What car is it?”

“It’s a Volvo,” Hugo answered. “A black Volvo. I hope it’s not my black Volvo. …that’s definitely my car, isn’t it?”

While it was merely a prank done in good fun, Fosh admitted that he “actually felt quite bad” about wrecking his friend’s car. So, to make it up to him, he bought Hugo the latest version of his beloved Volvo — this time, in silver.

This is the latest prank from Fosh to go viral after he stole fellow YouTubers MrBeast and KSI’s DNA to make cheese out of it in 2023.
